Officially licensed movie replica of the famous wizard, from The Hobbit – The Battle of the Five Armies, by United Cutlery.

United Cutlery has an extensive collection of movie replicas of movie weapons from the Hobbit movies. This includes props from the third and final film in the trilogy, The Battle of the Five Armies. Like the original props designed by the world famous Weta Workshop, each collectible is an accurate reproduction in every detail. Every detail has been taken care of in the creation of this replica, with special attention paid to making them authentic and visually stunning.

Gandalf the Grey’s staff symbolizes his status as an Istari, or wizard. Originally it belonged to Radagast the Brown and was made from an upturned, twisted young tree. Over time, however, the branches and root-like appendages that once crowned the staff have broken off and worn away. Now it is Gandalf’s walking staff, which is sometimes used as a weapon and, of course, carries magic power. On the side of the staff is Radagast’s runic mark, and where Radagast’s blue crystal once sat in the crown is an opening that now holds Gandalf’s pipe. A long nail, which also serves as Gandalf’s pipe tamper, can be inserted into a hole on the side of the staff. It is the same nail that Gandalf used to carve a rune into Bilbo Baggins‘ door in Hobbingen.

This wand of Gandalf the Grey is cast from polyresin. The artists have recreated the details and coloring of the original prop down to the smallest detail. The wand comes with a polystone wall stand. Even the included whistle and nail, also cast in polyresin, are included. The wall stand is designed to fit well with the other Hobbit staff replicas in the United Cutlerycollection. Each piece has its own serial number.
